Science exhibition and Literacy Activities for Students
The Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is a National programme implemented by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India to popularize science and to encourage the young generation to take interest in the area of science and technology. The SCERT has been designated as the State Nodal Department for the INSPIRE Award Scheme in the State. The scheme is open for all students of classes 6 -10 belonging to the State Government schools, Sainik schools, Novadaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Private -Aided schools and other Central schools.
The 5th State Level Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) competition was organized by the SCERT in two parts. Part-1 was conducted in the SIEMAT Hall, SCERT, Kohima on the 27th July 2017 and Part- II was held at GHSS Nagarjan Dimapur on 9th August 2017. The first and second position holders of Part-1 and Part-II will represent the State at the National Level.
