No. SCERT /ADM/RECUIT/GR-3/2023/   As per the approval of the Government of Nagaland Vide letter NO. DSCERT/Drivers/1-5/2025/166 dated the 11^th June 2025, applications are hereby invited from bonafide indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland for filling up 1(one) post of Driver under the Department of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Nagaland, Kohima. This is issued with the clearance accorded by the P&AR Department Vide U.O No. 288 dated 23/05/2025 and Finance Clearance vide RFC/ESTT.No.31/24 dated 02/06/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification required will be Class 8 Pass and above.

2. Age limit shall be Minimum 21 Years during the date of publication of advertisement and Maximum Age limit is 37 years, relaxable for Government employee equal to the number of years they are in service, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

3. Documents required (mandatory).

a. Educational Qualification Certificate.

b. Birth Certificate

c. Indigenous Inhabitants Certificate, ST, BT Certificate.

d. Backward Tribe Certificate (if applicable).

e. Valid Driving License.

f. “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from Head of Department with name and Official Seal, indicating the date of initial appointment of the candidate (if applicable).

g. Employment Exchange Registration Card.

3. (Three) Passport size Photos.

4. (five) years driving experience preferred.

5. Candidates will be assessed in the areas of General Knowledge, Driving Skills, Identification of Vehicle parts & Traffic Signals.

6. Application forms will be issued in the Directorate of SCERT, Nagaland, Kohima or can be downloaded from the SCERT website (www.scert.nagaland.gov.in) from 17^th to 30^th of Sept. 2025.

7. The filled forms should be submitted in person to the Directorate of SCERT, Nagaland, Kohima (Near Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School) on or before 10^th of October 2025. Application form will not be accepted after the last date.

8. After due scrutiny of all relevant documents, list of the eligible candidates will be uploaded in the SCERT website (www.scert.nagaland.gov.in) and Office Notice Board on 15^th of Oct. 2025.

9. Admit Card will be issued from 21^st to 23^rd of October 2025 during office hour. Date and time of the examination will be notified during the issue of Admit Card. An amount of Rs. 200/- will be charged as Exam fee at the time of issuing of Admit Card.
