Activity & Competency Learning (ACL)

The SCERT has introduced a new approach called Activity and Competency Based Learning (ACL) in the schools of the State which is a ladder type learning approach. Most of the elements of the RTE Act are taken care of by this system. The project is funded through the SSA. So far, the project has been implemented in 437 schools of the State.

Focused residential training of ACL teachers have also been conducted for around 600 teachers for expansion in 300 schools for the session 2014-15. Regular monitoring and supervision are being carried out. A District Resource Group (DRG) has been formed in all eleven districts of the state.
